EXPERIENCED Forklift Drivers needed. This position is in Doraville, GA. We are looking for proactive, self motivated candidates with a good work ethic. This position has two shifts: 6am to 5pm and/or 5pm to 4am four days per week with no weekends at this time. The pay for this position is $10.50/hr. Employees will be working in a cold storage facility where they will encounter extreme cold temperatures.
REQUIRES:
At least 2 years experience operating electric sti-down forklifts
Must have clean criminal background check
Negative drug screen
Provide 2 Past employment references
Ability to work either 6:00am to 5:00pm or 5:00pm to 4:00am 4 days per week

Purpose: Support successful warehouse operations. Ensure safe, efficient flow of traffic on the property to ensure production, loading and delivery functions are completed in accordance with approved plans. "Build" pallets/orders as needed/directed to support successful order fulfillment.
"Rework" damaged and returned product to restore appropriate product to �sellable� condition and destroy un-sellable product

Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of a warehouse in a dynamic environment
Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver's License-Class A is required.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Experience and success on a Double Lift
Comprehension of basic safety principles including proper lifting and use of personal protective equipment
Advanced forklift skills (single-wide/double-wide, HiJaw, Cascade).
Ability to efficiently/safely operate forklifts in small area (pick area).

DEFINITION:
Coordinates warehouse activities related to assigned work in the area of receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and staging of food and supplies for Nutritional Services. Provides oversight in safe and proper handling of food inventory. Conducts activities related to USDA commodities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

TASKS:
Receives and processes orders of food and supplies from school sites. Coordinates and conducts staging of orders and driver delivery, including both warehouse orders and central kitchen orders. Acts as a liaison with school site nutritional services supervisors.
Receives and verifies incoming stock from vendors. Loads and unloads vendor and delivery trucks. Operates material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials. Utilizes automated system for inventory verification and adjustments procedures. Completes appropriate documentation. Drives routes as required. Routinely inspects refrigerated trucks to ensure food safety standards are met.
Utilizes and monitors inventory management procedures incorporating FIFO and HAACP criteria for proper handling and storage of all products. Monitors inventory volume to achieve volume par levels for optimal inventory turnover with input from the Director of Nutritional Services.
Coordinates USDA commodities with direction from the Director of Nutritional Services. Conducts monthly ADE shipping verifications. Coordinates direct ship schedule of processed commodities with Student Nutritional Specialist. Meets regularly with Nutritional Services district office personnel on commodity ordering needs related to menu. Monitors ADE Notice of Arrivals, places orders, and submits refusals within required time limits. Checks ADE surplus weekly and places orders as needed.
Maintains records required by law; performs other related duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:
